...KOCH BROTHERS!
It's a good thing we have the Internet these days, but for how much longer?
And it’s not working anyway. Despite avalanches of money being spent on research to find evidence of rapid man-made warming, despite even more spent on propaganda and marketing and subsidizing renewable energy, the public remains unconvinced. The most recent polling data from Gallup shows the number of Americans who worry “a great deal” about climate change is down slightly on thirty years ago.
Is it any wonder? Thirty years ago, it wasn't global warming that was going to do us in, but rather run-away global cooling. All those aerosols spewing from chimneys and tail pipes were going to reflect all our warmth back into space. If we didn't so something about that... new Ice age! We were told we had never really seen a blue sky, or clear vistas because of all those aerosols in the air that intercepted light before it could reach our eyes. Remember that? I sure do.
There was also "consensus" about that too, and floating suggestions for covering vast acreage of arctic ice fields with carbon black to melt them, or exploding nukes to halt the advance of the glaciers. They were as hysterical about that then as they are about Glo-bullWarming™ or ClimateChange™ today.
It was ridiculous then, and it's ridiculous today, but don't expect these moonbats to learn a lesson. Once this latest campaign falls apart, they'll try something else. They never give up their quest to become our Overlords. For our own good, of course.
