Full response on that Damn Megyn Kelly question
Archiving this so I don't have to write the whole damn argument the next time it comes up. People really annoy me.

Except he DIDN'T 'talk about women like that', which is the point and should matter.

"Kelly hurled at Trump the most asinine question that a moderator ever asked a presidential candidate. 'You once told a contestant on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?'
Trump was clearly bewildered. There’d been many shows, and he didn’t remember everything that was said on every one of them.
The context in which Trump made this statement was a conversation he’d had with contestant Brande Roderick and rock star Bret Michaels.
'Brande came in here,' Michaels said on the show, 'She got down on her knees and said, ‘I passionately want to do this-’'
'Excuse me, you dropped to your knees?' Trump interrupted.
'Yes,' Roderick responded.
'That must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees,' Trump said.
See anything demeaning in this banter? Brande didn’t. In fact, she was so outranged by the unfairness of Kelly’s nasty implications that she jumped to Trump’s defense: She didn’t remember the comment. Besides, this was a TV show; people were having fun being funny. "
No one among ALLLLLLL of the PC crowd even noticed the comment on the highly rated Celebrity Apprentice when it happened. But it was that offensive? Or maybe it's as innocent as it obviously is if one watches the video. I did.
The rest of Kelly's question took the form you offered, which in Kelly's case was absolutely dishonest.
""You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs,’ and ‘disgusting animals,’"
This was calculated and deceitful. It paints a picture of him regularly doing this to women, and pretends he doesn't treat men the same.

1) In every case the woman in question attacked him or someone he cares about first. The examples include 4(?) times in the last 9 years. 9 years. Not exactly worth a "you've called women".
2) He treats men the exact same way.
Like or dislike Trump, the truth matters. Megyn Kelly's question was not honest in any way, and certainly not journalism. It was possible to question on the topic without that gotcha.

All of the leftist media is going to assault and gotcha the GOP. We KNOW this. Maybe, just maybe, the ONE outlet we count on for SOME semblance of a fair shake doesn't need to go out of their way to emulate the Democrat media while WE are trying to pick the REPUBLICAN candidate.
There was 1 question on the economy. There were no questions on jobs. There were no questions that I recall on how Republicans will oppose the Democrat party.
But there WAS a question, the main one talked about, that happens to feed the DNC propaganda of "War on women".
It was bad journalism.
