LBJ and Democrats, and civil rights

Some Of The Lost History In The Civil Rights Movement - http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/some-of-the-lost-history-in-the-civil-rights-movement
"I apologize for the following language but we have to understand the truth that is not being told any longer. The following quotes are LBJ quotes:
“I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” -Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One -
“These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.”-LBJ
You can find this in Ronald Kessler’s 'Inside The White House'".

Democrats will deny the validity, of course. It's what they do. If only we had any other evidence to lend credibility to it.

Here's a short clip of LBJ in his own words, so we know he was free with the use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1rIDmDWSms
We also know progressives will do anything for power. If only there had been efforts at Civil Rights legislation before dear old LBJ miraculously jumped to the selfless crusade for those... what was the word we just heard from him in his own voice... niggers?...

Back to the link above -
"Were you aware that even under FDR’s 'New Deal' program that was to benefit lower income segments of the population, African Americans were still segregated in Soup Lines and Bread Lines?
In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes.
It was not until Truman used the executive order that the military finally became desegregated. It should also be noted that LBJ was not the great Crusader of Civil Rights. President Johnson made a 360- turn in his civil rights position when he became President, from 1940 to 1960 Johnson voted with the South 78% on civil rights issues. Prior to 1957, Johnson voted with the South 100% on civil rights issues. He also voted against the C.R.A. of 1957 and 1960.
Were you aware that in order to break the racist ways of Southern Democrats, it was Republican President Eisenhower who sponsored both Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act and it was a LBJ lead Senate who fought tooth and nail against them? Ike finally signed a watered down Civil Rights Bill. Yes, let me repeat that, Republican President Dwight Eisenhower sponsored and signed the first Civil Rights Bill. Did you know that? In 1957 President Eisenhower signed the Civil Rights Act of 1957, which was intended to guarantee the voting rights of all African Americans. This was the first Civil Rights legislation to pass since Reconstruction. "

WHITE LIBERALS TELL BLACK LIES ABOUT CIVIL RIGHTS - http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2013-02-13.html
"If Eisenhower's 1957 civil rights bill was weak, it was because of one man: Lyndon B. Johnson. As Robert Caro explains in his book, 'Master of the Senate: The Years of Lyndon Johnson,' it was LBJ who stripped the bill of its enforcement provisions. Even after that, the bill was still opposed by 18 senators -- all of them Democrats.
To the easily astounded Chris Matthews, Tanenhaus breathlessly remarked, 'Not one Republican voted against that bill!' -- as if the 1957 Civil Right Act was a Democratic idea and they were delighted to get any Republican support at all.
[...]
The 1957 bill was sent to Congress by Eisenhower, passed with the intervention of Vice President Richard Nixon, and opposed exclusively by Democrats. Not 'Southern Democrats,' not 'conservative Democrats,' but Democrats, such as Wayne Morse of Oregon, Warren Magnuson of Washington, James Murray of Montana, Mike Mansfield of Montana and Joseph O'Mahoney of Wyoming."

What you'll get in reaction to this from Democrats is the standard routine. Generally there are two kinds, the sheep/cultist and the true "progressive"/leftist. The cultist will deny and ignore. Despite all of this being a matter of record, "nu uh". Their masters have told them the Truth and anything you say is some spawn of the vast right wing conspiracy. The true progressive likely knows it, and simply doesn't care. Their only interest is more power for the party, more control over the populace. The true progressive/leftist will deny, deflect, accuse knowing it's all the truth until you get tired and give up. At least now you know and care share with good people who might care.

Imagine what Malcolm X would think today... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BYVv4LY_KQ
"The Democrats have been in Washington D.C. only because of the Negro vote. They've been down there four years, and they're -- all other legislation they wanted to bring up they brought it up and gotten it out of the way, and now they bring up you. And now, they bring up you. You put them first, and they put you last, 'cause you're a chump, a political chump.
[...]The Party that you backed controls two-thirds of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and still they can't keep their promise to you, 'cause you're a chump. Anytime you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that Party can't keep the promise that it made to you during election time, and you're dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that Party, you're not only a chump, but you're a traitor to your race."
He gave that speech April 3, 1964. 50 years ago. If he looked at black culture, violence, single parents, unemployment, happiness after 50 years of Democrat "support" I wonder what he'd say.
