Hard Truths Liberals Won’t Face
A good piece featuring a must-read bit to keep in mind with your leftist "friends". Test this out for yourself if you don't believe it:
"The key to understanding liberals is realizing that they are immune to argument. The concept underlying the idea of a debate is that facts and reasoning can lead one to change his previous conclusions. But liberals begin with their conclusions; facts and reasoning that may undermine the preexisting conclusion must be at least ignored, if not actively attacked."
Your disagreement with the liberal is *proof* to them that you must be working from bigotry. They aren't going to consider the argument of a bigot, just attack it. (This is what the often used, "you're on the wrong side of history" means. They are telling you that you are just like those who were pro-slavery, but history will move past your obvious racism/sexism/denierism, etc. And it doesn't even occur to them how offensive that is.) Try it out for yourself. You'll soon realize the Democrat in your discussion *can't* consider a thing you argue.
