So, of the current republican field, who do you favor for 2016? Other than the obvious ANYONE that is.

Personally, I am thinking Newt is the man we need. He's a futurist, and not too far gone on any of the core issues. Most importantly, he's solidly pro gun, which means that he sees himself as hopefully leading free people rather than ruling subjects.

I would SO rather have rand, Ted, or a host of others, and I will work for them if they run, but it is what it is.

Newt has too much baggage. It's like that joke Rush Limbaugh always puts out as to why he won't run (besides that he'd get a pay cut). The media has already spun Rush into being such a horrible person for so long that he could never win. Same with Newt ( ... )

I would love Newt to be involved in the admin somehow. I'm not sure how much I trust him on rolling back progressivism. But '16 is too far out. If the Republic survives as is to that point I'll be surprised.
