W.H. holds off-the-record Benghazi briefing

"The White House held an off-the-record briefing with reporters on Friday afternoon to discuss recent revelations about the Benghazi investigation, sources familiar with the meeting tell POLITICO."

I don't have words.

But, but, but... there is no liberal media! Most transparent administration!

There is also no such thing as "off the record" when there's a Republican in the White House. This is just so wrong, and we all know what that's about: how to "spin" this Benghazi mess.

Wait, an "off the record" briefing with reporters? What, are they telling them the truths that the reporters are then instructed not to pass on, so that the reporters know not to make fools of themselves standing behind stories that turn out to no longer be "operative?"

Exactly. I can't fathom any justification to this. To me it speaks to direct admission this is some kind of oligarchy in all their eyes.

These people are beyond despicable. I've been trying not to hear much about Benghazi, but I can't avoid it completely. Bill Whittle is talking about it on Stratosphere Lounge. The more I learn, the more enraged and sick I become. Can you imagine how the families of those left to die must feel?

And when I think about those people themselves, the horror they must've felt in general and then *that moment* when it really hit them that no help was going to come... I'm at a loss for words too.

And yet ask any clown on the street what they think of it all and I'd bet they'd look at you blankly.

Stephen Crowder went to interview college students on Benghazi. The video is funny. The students are not:

Kimmel has a feature where they ask people fake question. Most recently they asked people what they thought of Judge Judy going on the Supreme Court. People answered seriously.

Low information, Obama voters.

Yep, I saw the Crowder vid.

Wow. I figured they'd at least know Judge Judy.

Some days I feel like I'm the only sane person left on the planet.

Okay.

I have now spent several hours pondering this. Mainly because I have a native skepticism, especially of the obvious or things I am likely to find easy to accept.

I *really* cannot find a non-scary explanation for this. Literally all the stories I have been able to construct around this event are... dark. So very dark.

So check it out, people are finally starting to wake up the Benghazi is a BIG DEAL, and MSM outlets are just starting to really report on it, start digging. Obama sees this happening, and so he calls in all the reporerts that have been otherwise complicit in the coverup (either through ignoring the whole issue or NOT reporting on what they do know) and gives them the real truth to try to convince them that they're in the right covering before him because of course it isn't his fault.

And that's not scary? Cause I find it pretty damned scary. I mean, isn't he supposed to, for example, tell congress that sort of thing? Like, before telling the media to keep carrying water and ignoring congressional sworn testimony?
