All true. But they have a bigger problem, which I believe caused that one. Statist-lite, GOP establishment.
The GOP establishment completely failed to confront or fight. That sat back, cruising. I'm not even sure they actually wanted to win. Now that they've lost, the very establishment that lost is purging any dissent... meaning conservatives. The tea party that one them 2012 has to go, so the losers of 2012 have more control.
