GOP establishment

Establishment GOP supporters continue to talk about all kinds of things we all "know". Except not so much. Some very good Questions for the Republican Party Establishment

This Coulter column is about a different topic, but the quoted section is my main purpose for it here.
MAKE THE DEMOCRATS OWN THE OBAMA ECONOMY by Ann Coulter "The Non-Fox Media managed to persuade a majority of voters that the last four years of jobless misery was George W. Bush's fault, having nothing whatsoever to do with Obama.
The media have also managed to brand Republicans as the party of the rich, even as eight of the 10 richest counties voted for Obama. And that doesn't include pockets of vast wealth in cities -- Nob Hill in San Francisco, the North Shore of Chicago, the Upper East Side of Manhattan and the Back Bay of Boston -- whose residents invariably vote like welfare recipients. Seven of the 10 richest senators are Democrats. The very richest is the useless gigolo.
Republicans have a PR problem, not an economic theory problem"

All true. But they have a bigger problem, which I believe caused that one. Statist-lite, GOP establishment.

The GOP establishment completely failed to confront or fight. That sat back, cruising. I'm not even sure they actually wanted to win. Now that they've lost, the very establishment that lost is purging any dissent... meaning conservatives. The tea party that one them 2012 has to go, so the losers of 2012 have more control.

The Purge of House Conservatives Continues "It’s becoming clear that there is only one faction that demands ideological purity. And it’s not the faction that upholds the ideology of the party."
