I finally came up with a response to my Facebook crowd who keeps bemoaning the poor, downtrodden, abused public sector worker.

"I would like to thank you for being present and expressing your opinion, even if it is wrong. That's more than the Democrat representatives of your state could manage to do. I'm glad that you, at least, are prepared to act like an adult."
