I’ve been burying myself in books lately: endless George MacDonald, The Reintegration of Beings, (a strange and complicated text of unknown origins), and I’m rereading Rumiko Takahashi’s Maison Ikkoku. The fourteenth volume of Maison Ikkoku finally came out after a long delay in publishing between it and the thirteenth volume-so long in fact, that I’m feeling more than justified in my rereading of the series.
Also, a few albums I ordered finally came in:
Woody Guthrie: Songs to Grown On For Mother and Child
The Mountain Goats: All Hail West Texas
I also picked up a few random albums I’ve been wanting:
Woody Guthrie: Struggle
A compilation of early T-Bone Walker sides, a Patsy Cline album for Nyssa, plus an impressive Leadbelly collection that includes: Goodnight Irene, and few other great folk/blues classics…
Bah, Nyssa just reminded me that I still need deposit the check I received from my Aunt Sandy in the mail, as well as a wad of cash that I got from my mom for my Christmas present.
I’ll probably buy something I don’t need…
I’m thinking-another guitar, or else a Greek Lexicon.
