Wow, one chapter of this makes entire fics look flimsy and unsubtantial; not because of the length but because so much is going on within the characters and their relationships.

I really felt for Yuri; he wants to be the rock for everyone but he's completely out of his depth and has some issues to deal with. Fortunately telling Shori once and for all that he's gay was big step forward and Shori came off pretty well. He's not a homophobe he's simply suspicious of Wolfram which isn't good but better than the alternative.
Yuri's no longer clueless but he doesn't what to do with the knowledge.

Wolfram seemed to make alot of progress amd then it went poof during the confrontation with Shori. He lived with the abuse for forty years ago but Greta being raped and then simply imagining Yuri going through what he did made it all fresh and forces him to realize again and again what he'd been through. The herb tea shows that the abuse made him think of himself deep down as someone who could be used and it didn't really matter if he enjoyed sex or not just as long as the other person was happy. When he's in a relatively good mental state in part one he knows that he didn't think he could make it stop and considers Greta words that they couldn't change it.

I loved Greta here. Her feelings for her fathers are a mix of love, anger, protectivenes, betrayal, fear, sympathy, confusion and awkward attraction for one of them. It was heartbreaking to see her thoughts of how touching Annissina felt safe in contrast to Yuri and Wolfram. She intuitively knows something is going on with Wolfram and makes accurate guesses considering how little information she's given. That scene between her and Annissina was interesting; I'd wondered how many other people had guessed or noticed something outside of the Bielfelds. It was also very sad because things would've been so much better if Greta had been able to talk with Annissina from the beginning; she now knows why Wolfram is hurt and its not always about Yuri.

The closest thing there is to a counselor would be Annissina; (perhaps Murata) She is direct, straightfoward and doesn't shrink away from confrontation or unpleasantness like Yuri and she is a shining beacon of sanity here.

In conclusion this was worth the wait and I'm glad you're back.

Thanks so much for the great comment-- you got everything I was trying to get across!!

And I am happy that at least one person still remembers and is interested in this fic!

^/////^ Sometimes I think I have too much going on, so I'm glad it works!

I could go through and pretty much quote everything and say YES that is exactly what I meant! yay! But that would be pretty repetitive XD Suffice to say I'm very happy that it all came across.

Thank you again for reading and leaving a great and thoughtful comment <3333333
