The internet is a strange and funny place
So today's xkcd comic mentions "Wolfram's rule 34" in the mouse-over text. Wanting to know what the hell that meant, and sort of excited about anything sharing Wolf's name, I googled it. The results? A bunch of discussions about today's sudden spike in google searches for "Wolfram's rule 34".
I don't know why I find this so hilarious and odd. But if I were Randall Munroe (who writes the comic), I would be pretty damn proud of myself. Although I suppose it was even crazier when, inspired by this comic, someone actually wrote such a program. (It's now part of YouTube!)
