business at hogwarts is going smoothly once again. the new education initiatives will take effect with the next term. it marks a new and exciting chapter in magical education. it will shape the generations to come, and make them proud to belong to a magical community like ours. hogwarts will once again be great.
i'm back in london again, and i have to say that the sunny weather is making me irritable. where's the lovely english gloom i always love? people in the parks are starting to wear less clothes and it's almost sickening how cheerful everyone gets when the weather starts to resemble something vaguely tropical. fortunately, i'm putting in more hours at the ministry, so i can at least evade most of the sun.
rodolphus if you say one word about my being a vampire i'll have your head
there are some people around the ministry that are causing much more trouble than they're worth, at this point. i think we ought to do something about it. thoughts?
it is nice to be back in london, despite the hideous weather. narcissa is quietly attempting to redecorate everything within sight, but i've told her she's got to focus on wiltshire, and leave my flat alone. i'm not quite ready to hand my flat over to a more female touch, as it were. i like the dark woods, anyway, and she wants to cover them with brocade or something silly.
