I just don't know why college has to be so difficult.
First you go to high school and fuck up while everyone tells you to do better. Then by the time it's to late, your a senior and having to apply for financial need. Now lets sum up financial need....
The only contract/bank loan you are aloud to sign when you are under 18. That's awfully sweet of them. So after anywhere from 2-6 years in most cases, once you graduate you have amassed an amount of money that you have never seen and will never see again(probably b/c you went with what you enjoy, and we all know that no one can make money with what the enjoy). Thus meaning I may not be homeless but certainly the equilvalent of trailer trash. Once you finally get that degree, you get the good fortune of finding a job in a field where there is no availibility and no money or benefits to be had. Then 6-9 months later, it comes time to pay those loans off, plus intrest of by law, 5%.
Once you find a job, you decided you want to get married or your pregnant, either way here we go again. 18years and 9 months later, more FAFSA!! So by the time you pay off your student loans its time for the Parent Loans.
Also you have only yourself to blame b/c had you listened to those people telling you to do better, you would qualify for merit based scholarships. (the glory of this sentence is that I almost misspelled scholarships, not on a typo)
I literally cried after leaving the FAFSA meeting.
I want a car. I'm only 17 and can't sign for a car nor get a job that could pay for a car, yet I can sign that ever so important and life changing loan contract.
Who knew that I would ever cry after leaving a meeting hosted by initials.
I think minimum wage is pretty offensive too. The lowest possible amount of money an employer can pay you, though they want to give you less, but they would go to jail....and you can't live off of it.
What gives men the right to full on make eye contact and smile, and proceed to do things with obscene things with their tongues? Are you kidding me? That is possibly the most offensive thing anyone could ever do. Not a compliment to be whistled at! Please allow anyone with a penis to take head of their hormones and keep the eye contact and smile w/out obscene jokes, movements, and or comments. SHOVE IT!
