Spirituality and laughing raine0211 October 2 2004, 07:23:28 UTC
I usually laugh when I hear the word spirituality 'cause so many people mistake it for religious. It's different. Ya, I'm Christian, I go to church, but...I'm not sure I believe everything they spoonfeed you. I'm definitely an independent thinker. I think I always will be. I'm very disillusioned by the religion, I get to watch the hypocrisy all the time. People preaching and then getting trashed, having sex, putting people down, criticizing differences.
I try to be open, but then I have the same urge as you do, sometimes I just want to yell at people...and I do. Monica says I'm the most tactless person in the world. I don't know where my pride lies, its really hard to dent...which is mad, but, my prejudice against certain really fanatical Christians, or racists or whatever, keep me from having patience and trying not to yell at them for being total assholes. Anyway, I believe in God and that He is there. I like to pray/meditate. It really helps your sanity. Psychology findings say Meditation does. Anyway, that's my take on that. I totally think its an individual thing though to find it. ANYWAY, not that I'm a total fanatic, I dont' think I could be, but thanks for the music, I shall look for it. I love new suggestions and I thank you so much for it. :) <3 ~SpaZ~
