i had a snowy day spent in the courthouse car and what's better than a longass fic? nothing. I'm glad i started to read this.
in all honesty, i wouldn't read this if it was thrown in my way because i don't like fic where there are many povs (especially for the characters that I don't care about) and in this case it was morgana, gwen and uther. (I'm kind of seeing only merlin and arthur when it's down to fics) so it was challenging for me at the start.
but i'm happy that i got through and saw the end cause IT WAS WORTH IT! merlin and arthur's storyline happened so flawlessly and it was very, very good. just the way i'd wish for s3 to be.
about morgana, like i said: i've proven to be wrong, heh. you girls wrote her so believeably that i was wondering what would she do in the end and how all of these would turn out but you did it great. and i liked how morgana and leon didn't walk to sunset but you gave a hope for something new and hopeful for the future: which was what both morgana and reader needed the most: hope.
so, in conclusion, i liked this very very much. such a realistic and well done *novel*. good job, both of you :)
LOL, it really is a novel, isn't it? Thanks so much for giving this fic a chance and sticking with it through to the end; it is such a compliment not only that this could have been a believable S3, but also that you got invested in Morgana's arc despite not being interested in her character to begin with!
We did have a few discussions about how Leon/Morgana's story should end, but we definitely didn't want a pat romantic ending for them! :) I'm glad what we went with in the end worked for you.

(Kidding, kidding...;)) But honestly, I'm so happy to hear that you were drawn into Morgana's story in spite of your own initial resistance to it. We spent a great deal of time discussing how we wanted her story to play out, especially since there were so many complexities to her character. And it's good to hear that you were satisfied with how we left things with Leon and Morgana.
