Morgana and Leon's heart to heart was quite endearing. Especially the bit with the golden peony. :) <3 And who doesn't love Matchmaker Gwen? Ha ha. IF YOU INSIST!

"I thought you were going to die," he repeated, not sure if it was a justification for his slightly odd behaviour or simply a statement of the only thought he was capable of articulating at present.

<- Total "Aaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" moment throughout their conversation. The way Arthur was trying to deal with the whole situation and realization of it all was very touching. Huzzah for Comfort Merlin! :)

Can't wait for the next chapter. <3 I'm super curious as to what Merlin and Morgana are going to talk about.

Also, Morgana's reaction to Arthur and Merlin's intimate display was win.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! Yes, Gwen is totally a matchmaker. She just wants the people she cares about to be happy, which definitely includes Morgana. Her and Leon really are the sweetest together, and it was quite an enjoyable ride to write their relationship, even if we hadn't actually intended on progressing things along that line when we initially started the fic ( ... )

It's such a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed the Leon/Morgana scene. They really are the sweetest together, aren't they? I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the peony part of the scene, as it was something we set up very early in the fic. Similarly, I'm also thrilled to hear that the Merlin/Arthur reunion scene hit the right spot for you :).

Gwen is awesome, I totally agree. And I'm particularly happy that you're enjoying our version of her. We've had a lot of fun writing her role in this.

Thank you so very much! I'm quite happy to hear that you've enjoyed the progression of the Leon/Morgana relationship. They've been one of my favourite aspects of the fic, actually, and the relationship sort of developed at least partially on its own, as we'd never quite intended for things to get so serious between them. But we're glad it did, and especially glad that you're enjoying it. Thanks again :D
