Have finally regained enough brain to use a computer. The last few days have not gone exactly as expected since I was hit with a nasty little bug Saturday night. I'm simply not used to being sick anymore. It's back to the old days when my greatest amusement came from seeing how many garbage bins would fill with kleenex by the end of the afternoon. The euphoria of not being at work has gone astray.

We had a tour of the birthing centre on Tuesday. At least the rooms where labour goes on are air conditionned. They recommend packing a fan for the post-partem rooms. Walking through that hospital seems to encompass several "bio-zones" ranging from Arctic to tropical.

I will now return to all things horizontal...
