tapas
Went out to a Tapas restaurant last night to meet up with moc and mo and Pen and Jen (two kiwi girls from taupo). Had a good night and was talked into sharing a bottle of wine with Mo, though didnt drink much. Ate too much like normal then headed and home and was in bed by 9pm, though house then the first episode of Greys anatomy was on so didnt go to sleep till nearly 11. silly TV>
River is coming down with a cold, poor thing, coughing and sneezing everywhere. WAs going to go to oxford tomorrow but doc and river might have to stay home, doc wont care though.... that leads me onto my next thing.
My friend Jo from NZ and her mate Jodi arrived at lunchtime from NZ. They are staying with us until sunday then going to spain for a wedding.
I went and got them in my lunch hour and dropped them at home, gave them a quick tour then back to work.
Jo so makes me laugh, its so good to see her again. And she loves home and away, so had a great time in the car hearing about where they are up to, as England is months behind.
Our plans are to do something quiet tonight, though got a text from jo that they had already been to the bottle shop plus had a pub lunch. So we will see.
Tomorrow we are going to go down to Oxford and have a ride on the gondolas (boats) then tomorrow late arvo/evening heading out to London, hopefully to a lovely garden English pub on the thames and drink pims and lemonade like the posh totty we are (means hot stuff over here!!)
Then Sunday they are going to spain and I am going to sleep and lye on the couch all day and relax
