worst day ever!!!!
i am having the worst day ever, i can hardly walk still. went to the doctors last night who said i have badly sprained my cocsic(or however you spell it) and bruised it and it could take up to 3 months to fix, my tooth is hurting me so bad, am on anti biotics for it, they cant see whats wrong as apparently when i was younger had root canal on it (

Get yourself, without delay, a round air cushion like a car inner tube. These come from chemists, and are a comfortable size. Then sit yourself so that your Coccyx is in the hole in the middle, thus taking away the pressure and pain, and allowing healing. God knows why the doctor did not tell you this! Not expensive.
Next, pain from infection of the roots of teeth is the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life bar nothing anyhow. Root canal therapy is therapy to alleviate or help this, it is not the disease. What happens is that pus builds up between the jawbone and the root of the tooth and builds up a huge pressure and pain. When I had it I nearly went literally mad! They tried antibiotics to clear up the infection and reduce the pus thus reducing the painful pressure. Finally all failed and the specialist took out the tooth and the relief was so indescribably great! Nothing in life mattered but to get relief from the terrible pain.
Remember you are in this situation now, and you may need to seek relief by a tooth extraction, but if you were suffering pain as I was you will do it. My pain extended over time with the antibiotic alleviating it making me think we were on the right track, then when I finished the course the pus and pressure would come back, because with a pussy situation it is hard for it not to reinfect and pressure up again.
The good news is that you have not broken the Coccyx. The pain from there will go away.
