Lambeth, Canada
presently in the coolest little town in Lambeth, Canada, 2 hours east of Toronto. We arrived in buffalo all fine, had a nice hotel and crashed out early after our 2 flights.
I even got up the next morning and used the hotel gym!
Went and picked up our car and ended upgrading to a cool 4WD as we had way too much luggage (all darryls of course, not mine!) We then drove to Niagara falls, only around 30 mins from our buffalo hotel. It was amazing! took loads of pics and had lunch then drove over to the canadian side and did the maid in the mist boat tour. It takes you right up to the falls and is so good, we all got soaked! we got rain coats to put on, and a little baby one for river. He had a bit of a whinge when the wind was really loud and water blowing in his face, but was fine besides that.
We were there for a few hours and decided to head off to docs friends Tim house about 2.5 hours drive away. On the walk back to the car we saw loads and loads of cars with italian flags being waved about and horns honking so knew that Italy had won the world cup!!! it was great to see and everyone was clapping and waving at them all.
drove last night to Tims, Justin ocallaghans bro, and his 4 kids and girlfriend. They live in what i can only describe as Anne of green gables country. Its amazing, farms and huge houses and loads of space, its great! i want to stay another week here!
River loved it as the kids just adored him and played with him for hours!
we ended up having a few drinks with Noreen and Tim and i went to bed at 2am and the doc came to bed about an hour afterwards.
got up late today, river slept till past 10am and went and picked some strawberries. having a bbq tonight and all just chilling out now.
off to montreal tomorrow where doc use to live. though we cant get hold of his friend and its 8 hours drive so will decide a bit later tonight what we are going to do.
