A weekend in Jun 2012
Friday was quite enjoyable - having dinner at Imperial in Ion with Joe, Fred and Lionel. And then it is jeans shopping. Mr New got himself a pair of G-star jeans and I got one from True Religion. Pretty nice, I think. After that we hitted the club - these days the Friday crowd is really too thin for my liking. There was this mid-age round chap who tried dancing with our group, too close for comfort. But I was telling myself not to pre-judged individuals - if discrimination by sexual orientation is frowned upon then why should discrimination by age or shape be allowed.

Saturday came quickly after Friday's clubbing. I woke at 10am and prepared for the brunch dimsum with the rest of the boys at Asia Grand. I thought the Bras Basah mrt exits at Bras Basah complex and I chose to take the circle line in my desire to reach Odeon Tower early. Who would have guessed that the exit of the mrt is about 10 mins from destination. In a normal situation that is ok, but in the swelting heat of Singapore June, that was near unbearable.
Dim sum was with Fred, Joe, Lionel, Wen chuan, Johnson and Darren.
Dim sum was fairly ok, nothing to wow about though. I think we ordered too much, and we devoured our food like any normal hungry boys. Cautions to regulate pace of intake were abandoned to the wind. I hopped over to Raffles hotel to polish my Tiffany pendant and it costs me $30. Thought that was a little expensive given that polishing services should be free, right?
Anyway we took the train to Paragon after brunch, for our Shabam class. I think it is quite fun and wacky - I like the Indian dance. haha. After the class, we continues walking around Orchard before I headed over to Fairmont hotel for Han Xue's solemnisation ceremoney. Pretty sweet. The Justice of Peace sounds like a tv host, at times. It was heartening to talk with so many ex-colleagues, including Mike and Yuen Foon.
Went home after that and boy I was tired.
Joe Joe Armani Tan then emotionally extorted me to go Play. And so I drove there and Lionel assisted in getting me in. Quite a nice crowd, and uhmmm people there are bolder? hahah. Anyway I didn't do anything. And I was back in bed at about 3am.
Today is Sunday and I shall go Paragon gym, before having dinner with my family. Probably I shall alter my pair of jeans before gym.
