Bangkok 13 - 16 Apr 2012 - Day 1

Apr 18, 2012 01:07

And so I returned from the 4D3N holiday in Bangkok. It was really a mind blowing holiday, and I enjoyed it to the max.

Entourage: Tony, Jeremy, Joseph and me.
Pictures: mainly contributed by Tony.

Day 1

Greeted day 1 with much enthusiasm - reached the airport at about 10.40 for the 12.30 Thai Airway flight. It is the first time taking this airline, and I am not too impressed with it. But I guess it suffice. The seats are not very comfy and there is no personal screen to watch shows! Granted that it is a short flight but I was a little hyperactive then.

We reached Thailand in a jifty and I got the Thai simcard for 100 baht (for 3G usage). It suffices to grindr, jackd, whatsapp and facebook for my 4 days there. Talked to the taxi operator there to arrange a cab (700 baht) to Fraiser Urbana Sathorn, and as I was walking away from her I got my first "squirt" of Songkran (from her water bottle). Geez. Hahah, was not mentally prepared for that.

Checked in at Fraiser, and I was quite impressed with the apartment. Was pissed with Jemtoh for chopping the master room, as I had stated that I wanted the room with bath tub, before the trip. But since I will not be seeing that cow for a while, I let it passed. *defiance*. We changed up and then hit the street.

We decided to find out way to the Excelsior Tailor at Siam Heritage (Suriwongse). And that was how we hit the warzone (which spans across the silom, sala daeng area). Wet chalk was smeared across our faces. And I got hugged by this cute, neat looking one. And by a not so cute looking trans.

Water was sprayed from waterguns, hoses and all forms of conduit for water. Ice water is the ultimate assault. I realised that it is to our best interest not to rub away the wet chalk. When it dry naturally, one can peel the solidified chalk away like a mask.

We reached the tailor, after going through the labyrinth and seeing Tommy who is armed with a watergun. Anyway this Indian tailor in Excelsior has a sneaky look (personal feel). I tailored 2 shirts and 2 pants for 5200 baht.

And then we trough back warzone, and as the night is getting late - we settled for a cheap stall to have chicken instant noodle. Do-able food, when one is hungry. And wet. Haha. Soaking in the hotel bathtub was never so much welcomed.

Rested and then we hit DJ Station (night 1). We explored the three floors, and settled for dancing near the stage. Tony and Joe ascended to their God-ordained place on the stage. Uhmmm basically we enjoyed ourselves. Joe's Kyubbi self surfaced (sign of seal weakening). Quite a number of good lookers and quite a number are topless with decent to good bods. Discipline*

Day 2

Joe, Tony and I hit the Fraiser gym, and then Joe and I went to the pool to look for Jeremy. Quite a decent pool with a decent number of good lookers there. Haha i.e. aj cute ones. Frolicked and absorbed solar energy before going back to the apartment to change.

And then we went to this marvellous restaurant just beside Fraiser. (To be continued)
