Regret - I shalt not
The theme of this year's election is probably about "Regret".
TPL says her greatest regret is about not bringing her parent to Universal Studio. I suppose that could be a genuine regret, and though it does not smack of polictical astuteness to say that to a media.
Although I cannot fathom how that can be a greatest regret, I think it is pardonable because she is fielded that question suddenly.
Now juxtapose that with LKY's comment in Straits Time's first page about how people will regret if people vote against the PAP in Aljunied.
Unpardonable!! That is a poorly veiled threat! It implies that Singaporean cannot do without PAP and that if they are voted against - they will discriminate against that particular constituency. I am reminded about what SL commented about upgrading of HDB flats. Inconceivable.
