I really enjoyed this episode. This was far better Halloween episode then that horrible vampire one for years ago. Smallville has just gotten better over the years.

I loved all the scenes between Lois and Clark. Needless to say the end was just wonderful. It was romantic but tasteful. They's done the hot and sexy stuff with clois before and I think they was just right for their first time.

Clark's disguise was so hot! That is such a good look for Tom Welling.

I really enjoyed Clone!Lex's story in this episode. Hunting is the right word for it.Bravo to the young actor in those scenes when he went from sweet child to evil Lex Luthor. I loved how Tess gave clone Lex a fighting chance. He gave him love. He didn't have Lionel or the weight of brother's death or any of that bad family pain to crush his heart. Tess gave him love in their weeks together. Like you said children at his birthday party. Something Lionel couldn't do. Maybe it was harder as Lex knew his castmates and clone Lex doesn't really know anyone?

Like you said it was clone!Lex's choice as to what he would become - love with Tess as his mother or to be comsummed by Lex's darkness.

"Thirst" was one of the worst episodes in SV's history lol. Next to "Harvest" my favorite October creepy episode was season eight's "Prey". The whole storyline about Davis Bloome finally realizing that his blackouts weren't just blackouts. Plus added bonus of seeing shirtless, wet Sam Witwer *drools* lol. It's not a creepy episode, but I throughly enjoyed the comedical "Spell" where Lois, Chloe, and Lana were possessed witches. That episode was so funny and awesome lol.

ITA @ Clois sex scene. We seen the hot and sexy stuff in "Crimson" and "Pandora". We met that sexy quota lol. So to see the romantic tender Clois sex in "Harvest" with powers to boot was just..awww...it was nice :).

I'm quite impressed on how they are doing Clone!Lex's storyline. I always enjoyed it in the comics, but you never know how it will be in live action. What also helps is how we are seeing these great hidden jewels with Tess' character. Oliver Queen nailed Lex Luthor's evil within in the season six episode "Reuion". Lex is brutal and far cruel of what anything Ollie did. Lex literally beat the crap out of his best friend, and it was never part of the plan. Lionel definitely was a part of that cruelty that Lex grew into, but a lot of it also comes from Lex himself. He gets off on the power, greed, jealousy, and etc. That's just who he is, and Lex clones are really showing those traits. It's quite creepy but I'm loving it :).
