You know, I really promise chronic pain isn't as much of my life as it seems. It's just that I happen to post when I'm hurting a fair amount, or have been recently, so it's pretty fresh in my mind.
My friday night, going backwards:
I dropped off to sleep, comforted by
jleedev.
I nearly cried myself to sleep in my own bed.
I left a party, nearly too exhausted and pained to stand -- didn't bother tying my shoes -- and got a ride home from a friend. A very parked-in friend.
I watched part of Bender's Big Score and cuddled with up to seven people, depending on how you count it.
I saw The Vagina Monologues for the first time -- interesting! -- and ran into two friends there, one of whom I followed to a party.
I went to Film Society, as always -- had an officer's meeting, hung out with people, had fun.
I made cupcakes -- olive oil and orange with a sugar glaze on top. I hear they were delicious; I know they were amazingly simple.
I learned more about sponges than anyone in their right mind should want to know (Fun fact: they feed mainly on food particles that corals leak out. Said particles are sized between colloidal and dissolved size, but I have no idea what that translates to.)
Hmm, at that point going backwards, my day gets a lot less interesting, though we went over tons of different antibiotics and antimicrobials in microbio. Aaaanyway. Once a big topic comes along, I'll post more here. Wooooo.
