I don't notice "like" anymore, probably because adults don't tell me I sound silly anymore. I either say it less than I used to or it's become a socially acceptable part of our vocabularies that isn't noticed anymore.

I'd guess that you say it less. The funny part about the whole thing is that I notice far more than I used to when other people use like as a filler extensively around me, and it makes me cringe a bit...

Do you know what I would like to do?
I think I would like to get some food, as I find I really like to eat food. Maybe Pizza, I really like Pizza ;)

Heck if you want to do that:

I like the word "like," because it's useful when saying that something is like something else and you don't want to have to, like, twist your sentence into something that, like as not, your audience won't understand easily, because if you do that, then you're talking like you're not even trying to be understood, and it's like, what's the point ( ... )

Psh. That's not what I meant and you know it. Also this was from a sloppily written to-do list from four years ago.

> -be more social (@school)

This is one of those things that becomes so much easier the instant you leave high school and go to Case. At least, I'm assuming that at your high school, constructing Platonic solids out of Post-It notes didn't have much potential as a social thing? :-P

Hah, yeah. I actually didn't get into the origami stuff much until after I graduated, and a bunch of my friends from high school actually think it's really neat...but college did crazy things to my social life. Heh.

Thanks for reminding me, I'm staring at half of one of these I should probably get around to finishing...
