haven't done anything like this in a while, so i thought i would for old time's sake.
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up
sofie. tv. dresser. pile of laundry. picture of me and levi.
2. How do you style your hair?
depends on the day/my mood. if i wear it curly, i comb it, use a curl cream and then non-hardening gel. i'll blow dry my bangs and flat iron them, but leave the rest to air dry. if i wear it straight, i blow dry it all out then flat iron or curling iron. straight is more work, but lasts longer.
3. What are you wearing now?
tank top and boy short undies.
4. What's your occupation?
service manager for red lobster.
5. What do you hear right now?
sex and the city on my tv.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
i don't even know. i've been working so much i've been kind of a hermit.
7. What is/was for dinner?
nasty chinese food. i'll never order from fu lee again.
8. What did you do today?
not really anything exciting. went on a walk/run in my neighborhood then showered and went to a couple furniture stores and thrift stores, then target, tj maxx, marshalls, the usual. ate my nasty chinese food. almost went out but got tired. watched tv. put together my kitchen cart and bathroom shelves. and now sex and the city in bed.
9. Dog person or cat person?
i'm an animal person. someday, i'll get a dog, but i feel guilty leaving my cat alone at home for 11 hours a day. i can't do a dog right now. i'm the cat whisperer, for real though. one time, i went to an ice cream place and sat down on a parking curb to eat my sundae and a stray cat wandered over, climbed into my lap, and curled up. didn't even try to get into my ice cream. i almost took her home, but i knew sofie would flip, and my boyfriend at the time told me that if i brought another cat home, he was moving out.
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
i would only change my last name. to leale, my mom's maiden name. pronounced "lee-AH-lee." melanie leale. say it. rolls off the tongue. plus, if i had that name, when i tell people i am italian and they ask me what my last name is, i woudln't have to explain that my MOM is italian.
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
chinese food. and a kitchen cart, bathroom shelves, gray work pants, cotton balls, and face wash from target.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
if i had to limit myself to just one place, it would be australia!! but if i could afford to go anywhere, i could probably afford to go everywhere. and that would be better.
13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
i have no idea. working my way up the corporate ladder. i really don't know if i'll ever get married... not because i don't want to, but because i just don't think i see it in the cards for me. can't picture it.
14. Where's your birthmark?
left butt cheek. totally serious.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
working. 3-close both friday and saturday. furniture shopping sunday.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
i want to take piano lessons. badly.
17. How are you?
decent. despite the beautiful weather, today was sort of a bust. it was my day off and i would have enjoyed seeing a friend or two, but it didn't work out that way.

work 3-close. might try and go on another walk/run before.
