Prologue | Chapter One
My heart aches as I see the sad expression on your face. It makes me wonder if it was my fault. You take the note with the task list I have made for you and check it.Then you head out of the office, probably to get the first task done in buying me coffee.
I follow you secretly, just to check for myself that everything is alright with you (you make me worry so much about you I can't help but follow). You take the evelator to the entrance of the building. I use the second elevator right beside yours and get down myself.
Of course you reach there first. When I exit the evelator I see you talking to a guy. You and him then leave the building. I deliberate wether I should follow you or wait for you to come back. Since I don't know who you are going with, I quietly follow you out (my curiousity and worries won over me, see what you do, you make a stalker out of me), but before I can reach the entrancedoor (you are just passing through it), the old front desk secretary n the entrance hall stops me.
"Where are you going, Sir?"
She sternly looks at me and I know I cannot just leave work. I have to come up with something. I hesistate a moment before I cooly answer her.
"I forgot something at home. I would like to go and get it. Do you have a problem with that?"
She stays quiet and looks at me (suspiciously) before nodding and giving me permission.
"No, Sir. Not at all."
I only nod before I continue to exit the building.
Of course I have lost sight of you (damn old hag) so I decide to drive around the area and search you. I get in car and start the engine. Driving around my eyes search for you (and that guy) on the street.
Finally I catch a glimpse of your jacket, as you head into a small street. I park my car and follow you. You enter a coffee shop (so you were just getting my coffee...but who's this guy anyway?) and order coffee to go. I sigh (the worries are giving me a headache).
Suddenly you turn around (I was able to hide behind a trash container). You and this guy leave the shop and proceed to the company. I quickly follow again (I really feel like a stalker). I can hear glimpses of your conversation because I'm just nine feet (3m) behind you.
"Wow, this smells really awesome.", you happily chirp (butterflies flutter in my stomach whenever I hear you voice).
"I know right? I guess this is why our boss likes the coffee here so much. Are you his personal secretary?"
"Uhum. But I guess I'm more a bother that a help to him."
You look down. It makes my heart pain again, how can you think of yourself as a bother to me? You are the most hardworking employee I have had.
"Don't think so of yourself,ok? I think you are the best help someone could have. I have never seen someone who really cares about the boss' likings.", the guy says and ruffles your hair.
I wonder who this guy is to dare and touch my property (not that I marked you or anything, but this guy is just too friendly for my likings). He smiles at you what seems to cheer you up (I'm burning on the inside with jealousy) and you two continue to walk back to the company. I stay behind until I'm sure you have passed my car and didn't notice me then I hurridly get into the car and drive to the company.

Daniel is just so nice to me, it makes me feel a little bit better.
"It's rather cold, isn't it?", I say.
"Give me your hand."
"Huh?"
Daniel smiled at me sweetly and took my free hand into his.
"It's much more comfortable and warm this way, no?"
I blush slightly and nod. We continue to go back to the company while holding hands. I try to ignore the stares from the people we pass ( I wish to die now) but Daniel tightens his grip what gives me a little bit more confidence. I give him a shy smile which he returns. If only me and you could also get along this well, but it's impossible, I know, you are my boss and I'm your employee. We arrive at the company and the lady at the front desk greets us.
"I have to get back to office, I think you can manage on your own now?", Daniel asks.
"Yep, don't worry."
"Alright, but if you need my help, I'll be on the 4th floor, remember, ok?"
I can't help but chuckle. He worries too much.
"Of course, if anything is wrong I'll go to your office", I laugh.
He then leaves for the elevator. I use another one and head straight to the office. You are sitting at your desk checking something on you computer. I quietly put the coffee at you table and go to my own desk to not disturb you. There I work on the files you gave me.

I look up from the work I do and look at you. You are work so concentrated you don't notice me watching you. The coffe you got me stands beside my hand, I can smell its aroma and feel the warmth coming from the cup. I take a small sip of it, the warmth of the liquid fleeding my stomach and heart. I smile.
The coffee tastes better than usually (because you extra went and bought it for me). You put so much effort in just buying me a coffee.
I turn to my computer again, continuing on the research I just did. Daniel Chae.
I check this guy's files and am surprised by how flawless it is. He works on the 4th floor as an assistant of the developers (4th floor is the development area). He comes from the U.S., has lived in L.A. with his mother and father, was once my personal secretary (before you) but decided to work on the 4th floor (urgh I should remember the people I hire, especially if they have been together with me for a short amount of time). He is a smart kid, reliable and always neat. Not very noticeable. He is younger than he looks (maybe because you look younger and cute). He excels in academics and got his master with the highes grades. A very talented boy, social, and reliable.
Under normal circumstances I wouldn't pay attention to him, but it's bugging me that you and him get along so well, as if you've known each other since years (I should keep you around me more, to prevent him to contact you in any way). Since I will be on a buisness trip in two days (we have Monday) it would be a good opportunity to take you along with me. I smirk.
"Yoseob-shii, make sure you pack enough things for a trip of the three days. You and I are going on a buisness trip to Osaka on Wednesday til Saturday, the flight is at 6am, make sure you don't ge late."
"Huh?", you are startled (who wouldn't). You look confused and a little bit...afraid?
"Is something wrong?", I ask, more of worry.
"Ah, n-no, Sir. I was just....surprised. I will make sure I have everything ready."
I nod before returning to my computer, to actualy get some real work done.

Well, that came unexpected. I'm worried, because of that trip. How am I going to act around you when we are sticking together 24 hours a day for whole three days?
Also I have to tell Dongwoon that I will be on a trip and that he would have to survive without my cooking skills (either he would try to cook by himself and the kitchen would explode or he would order food but wouldn't clean the mess away and when I come back there would likely be a bug army on the carpet). I sigh.
At least I'm able to be with you, rather than staying at the office those days.
"I'll be leaving for an hour, make sure you get the files done", you suddenly stand up and exit the office leaving me in more confusion.
"Yes, Sir", I can only answer but you don't hear it anymore. I frown and get back to the files, not wanting to dissapoint you, but I can't concentrate any more. I wishit would be Wednesday already, but then again I don't want it to be Wednesday at all. I bury my head in the papers and sigh (once again). What should I do?

Omg. It's finally done....it took really long for me to complete this chapter and then I edited it like 5 times... D:
somehow the beginning looks really cut and short and so does the ending, helk the whole chapter!!!
well, finally I posted it (I'm still not really satisfied with it but oh, well) and I hope the 3rd chap won't be as hard to write as the 2nd XDD
ooh lala, yoseob and kikwang on a trip? and why is daniel so friendly with yoseob? will dongwoon die by the time yoseob is away? XDD
