Jun finds Satomi’s hand somewhere in the middle of the dance floor and then they’re off in a flourish of silver and ruffled skirts. Ohno sits at a banquet table with a plate of food and a little silver box, completely oblivious.

“I don’t understand,” Meisa complains, finally settling down next to him, bunching the skirt of her dress into her lap so she can fit. “Why do you even-what’s the point of relationships?”

“You wouldn’t understand, because you’re not in one,” Ohno replies, his voice toneless but not unkind.

“It doesn’t seem like you’re in one, either, to be honest.” Meisa stabs a fork into a piece of bloody meat and chews thoughtfully.

Ohno smiles a little and Meisa starts; she’s not used to people smiling in her presence. “It works for us, this arrangement. I love Satomi, Satomi loves Jun, and Jun loves me. Well, Jun loves Satomi and Satomi loves me and I love Jun, too.” His gaze lingers on her for another second, before he’s back to fiddling with the little silver box in his hands. It has several cross-shaped and circular buttons and a large screen on the top half-probably another human invention Nino “borrowed.”

“I’ll never understand you lovefools,” Meisa announces finally, after devouring her entire plate. She’s left that lifestyle behind completely.

“It’s okay, as long as you understand seconds.” Ohno motions to his own empty plate and elicits a rare smile in kind from Meisa.

OH OH OH. HINT-O. HINT-O. ♥ I like this mainly because we establish OHNO/SATOMI/JUN love triangle threesome of perfection thank you very much. ♥ ♥ and i like that Ohno's not mean about it to Meisa, just matter of fact. and that he smiles at her even when nobody usually does. AND THEN MEISA SMILES BACK. HAPPY SIGHS.

ALSO, before i forget, was he fiddling with a game console?!

:D i thought i should edit accordingly because wow, we actually have a semi-established canon. this is so unlike us yet I LOVE IT.

and yes! he was in the original too, but i wasn't obvious about it. so i made it more clear. :D
