It's not really stealing if he doesn't actually steal anything, Nino thinks as he rearranges Maki's collection of spears and places her olive trees closer to the sunlight streaming in from the window. He can hear the click of Sho's tongue and his you really shouldn't mess so much with Maki and he knows it to be true. She could probably kill him if she really wanted to, if gods could die, and if she could catch him, anyway. (He would let her catch him.)

But her look of exasperation as she peers out the window, her trusty elf owl perched on her shoulder, both of their heads cocked to the same side. "Message for me, Nino?" she asks, head in her hands, fighting a smile. (She always loses.)

"Aiba is throwing a party, he wants you to come."

"Aiba's parties are usually a bit too much for me to handle," Maki replies, amused. Her owl chirps in agreement.

"I promise an alcohol-free table," Nino replies quickly, fluttering up to her face and tapping her on the nose. "Tell Meisa to come."

Maki laughs outright at that. "A goddess like myself only has so much power."

"So you'll come?" Nino asks hopefully.

"Yes, yes I'll come," Maki replies with a warm smile. "But first I have to tend to my olive trees - they've decided to grow legs and crawl towards the sun while I'm not looking."

"Olive trees tend to be rather headstrong." Nino nods sagely and Maki laughs again.

"See you later, Nino." And she is gone into her room with a swish of her robes.

Nino sighs and floats on his back away from her window and thinks not for the first time, nor for the last, what a pity.

LOL. UM. WELL. i happen to have the list of greek gods open on wiki and kept debating on who would be what and finally decided i would start writing and see what happened later. :X

Maki is Athena (Meisa is actually Artemis, in my head) actually - the greeks have a lot of virgin goddesses, surprisingly! BUT YOU TOTALLY GOT AIBA AS DIONYSUS BECAUSE HE WOULD BE. weird drinking concoctions & animals and all.

i've been deciding on satomi for either aphrodite or persephone. i also have no idea who is angry enough to be ares, though. (ryo? LOL ooooh wait. matsuda shota? *ponders*) also ♥♥♥♥♥ compliments from kami are always worth tenfold. ♥♥♥♥♥

oh the idea of satomi as aphrodite is GREAT. *___________* (although instead of persephone, on my phone, i had accidentally read poseidon and though oh hay that'd be interesting, lololol. XDDDDD) i love the idea of a more demure aphrodite, which seems so opposite with the usual mythology. I actually like the idea of twisting some of them, so I had actually pictured loud!Mirei as Persephone and Jun as Hades, but please don't let me interfere with your canon! This was just some random thinking. ♥

:D i was actually thinking of jun for hades as well (because hi, lord of the bling) but once i mentioned matsuda shota i kind of wanted him as hades. but now i love the idea of junmirei as hades/persephone too. so difficult! (jun sees her in the field of flowers and is attracted to her eyelashes. LOL)

ahahahah because we are awesome and have like minds? maybe? (UM. OMG, ATTRACTED TO HER EYELASHES, LAUGHING.) guh. matsuda shota. he has to BE SOMEWHERE. i feel like he'd be evil of some sort, like a little twisted. My first thought was Pan, but I may be thinking of that from another interpretation of him. (have you ever read The Lito? TOTALLY AWESOME MODERN INTERPRETATION OF THE GREEK GODS. i adore it. i am behind as fuck, but i think i may be getting my interpretation of pan from that.)

but yeah! that's why i was thinking of him for hades (also as a love shuffle callback) - the only modern adaptation/interpretation of the greek gods i've read is the percy jackson series XD but i will totally look into the series! i'm always down for more greek mythology.

maybe shota could be ares - though i don't think he's ever starred in a drama with satomi? hmmm

omg, i hadn't even THOUGHT of love shuffle, but fuck, that'd be AWESOME. (which would make his persephone yoshitaka? because omg, i can see that too, okay.) and actually the_lito is a fan thing! It started with a "cast this as a tv show" and then she made SO MANY FICS BASED ON THAT TELEVISION SHOW. it's kind of beautiful.

Although with the love shuffle callback, i'm totally leaning more towards shota/yoshitaka as hades/persephone. god such a beautiful pair. *____________* which if satomi is aphrodite, i could totally see ares being jun then. :)

Personally, first person I thought of was Sho as Apollo. The image of Sho/Meisa as siblings, hilarious. XD

I'm assuming becky won't be related to yoshitaka though, right? because... slightly weird. but then again, i could never picture demeter/persephone as mother/daughter but i mean, whatever. lolol

Sadly for hephaestus my first thought was Ohno; i mean good with his hands, quiet type.

GOD. the main hera/zeus is tough in my head. WHO THE FUCK COULD THAT BE. I feel like they should just be in the distance, lolol so we don't have to think up the hassle of figuring out who we'd cast as them. XD

Poseidon could be yamapi! and hestia.... UH. geezus. (What are the chances you'll use hestia anyway. cough. xD What is she the goddess of again?)

zeus was a fucking horndog. let us never forget HOW MANY CHILDREN HE SPAWNED, the fucking ass. really, hera should've like castrated him from the getgo. seeeeeeriously. it's ridiculous how messed up this family is (then again, it started with baby eating and daddy killing, so.)

omg i think it would be even more hilarious if it was kimutaku instead of tsuyoshi, but i'll keep the couple you wrote about. and i...okay i may have grown fond of masami after reen's fic (you two, geez, can't i just dislike my idols in peace?! XD) but i was TOTALLY wondering who would be meg and masami would DEFINITELY fit.
