“Did you ever think we’d end up like this?” Blair asks, fussing with the collar of Dan’s robes as he tries to fix his hair in the mirror of their bedroom.

“You mean me, a reporter for the Daily Prophet and you the new owner and CEO of Madam Blair’s Robes for Only the Finest Occasions?”

“No, I mean-happy.”

Dan glances at her-she is so gorgeous even in her pajamas and messy bedhead-at the rounding swell of her stomach, and kisses her on the nose. “I never doubted it for a second.”
