The New Years Survey
Yup... still alive... and thus... New Year's survey, as a way of looking back
My favorite new band of 2005: Postal Service, Sugababes, Fall Out Boy, Franz Ferdinand (Yes... most of these are NOT new to 2005... but new to my listening to them so.. ha!)
My worst habit adopted in 2005: Social Climbing (which while nice, has it's downside), Dangerous Flirting (which, I already was, but as with my usually 4 year turn around, it's re-reared it's ugly head), Itunes (which is just damn addicting), oh! and Spending Money like it grows on Trees!!
The habit I beat in 2005: Well... I lost 25lbs and am still working... so something there... and Religious apathy/CEOism... working on the whole inappropriate comment/lying thing... small advances
The most important thing I learned in 2005: Confidence in myself to change the immediate world around me... starting with myself, my relationships, and aimed towards my career
The coolest thing I learned in 2005: Running, and how wonderful it can be; Tons of great things from friends, new and old; the entirity of British History; how to knit!!
Something I did in 2005 I never thought I'd do: Run naked in public with friends!! --- Go to Greece --- Run 10 minutes/1.5 miles without stopping --- go to a make-out party and nearly escape being caught by the cops!!
My favorite part of 2005: Disney World with Brian... ooooorrr Basically all of Harlaxton, esp. the dancing with Addison :)
Best Party I attended in 2005: My first night out on the town aka the Naked Mile evening.... or Party Til You Puke... or!! Wine Tasting... all wonderful
Most notable significant other in 2005: Without saying it's Brian... hopefully the most notable significant other in my life (aww I'm getting cheesy)
People who will define the year 2005 in my memory: Brian, Addison, Samantha, Traci, Erika, Bryan, Sara H., The Hobbits (Josh!, Dave, Dave, and Chuck), Jana and Brendan
