Fairy tales always have the best names. Why have I never heard of Katie Crackernuts before? Katie Crackernuts.
And Hans My Hedgehog. And not only the Goat Girl, but the Goat-Faced Girl. And the Boy Who Wanted to Know What Fear Was.
And in what other kinds of stories do you find people getting their heads transformed into sheep's heads? I desperately want to write my own fairy tale one day. One with that same classic feel and tone. And lots of sheep-headed people.
I'm also a little in love with writing stories from another character's point of view, as per Wicked -- I'd desperately like to write something like that as well. Maybe one of these days I'll get the courage and write one in this journal.
I suppose I'm doing a bit of both in the Grimm story I'm narrating though. I can't wait to include all sorts of sheep-headed people.
