To my dear LJ friends...
It seems I have a tendency to post at this time of the year. I suppose it's a special time of reflection, to look back and ponder how far we've come, the changes we need to make, and how much further we have to go.
This year, on Christmas and New Years, I am spending it in Copenhagen. The year has gone by swiftly, and most of all, time flies when you have been caught up with launching you own business. So yes, my business ventured has officially launched 24 days ago and that's what been keeping me busy for the past year or so.
But more than that, launching your own business in a country not your own, a language not your own either, you are in a constant battle every day to wonder if it's worth it to keep going when you are so far away from the warmth and stability of family and friends. But I have made this decision and this is a path I must continue to walk on for the time being, to push through, knock down doors, leaving behind the familiar for the smallest possibility of hope.
To all of you going through a similar struggle, whether you are attempting to write that novel, make that first film, complete your research/study, find that great job that will bring you much needed peace of mind and development, start your own business venture, innovate a new technology, create a new artistic masterpiece and/or reach out to discover your calling in life, know that I am here with you and that I understand that no great success ever came without a sacrifice.
Wishing you and all of your family a great Christmas and New Year! May 2010 bear the fruits of success from your determination and perseverance!
Best wishes
Ra
