Worse than a girlfriend
I found out Saturday that my car had a flat tire. This morning the other tire was flat, too. When the tow guy arrived to take me and my money pit on wheels to the garage to have the tires checked, he told me the screechy steering I've been dealing with the past two weeks since the weather got cold was because of a problem with the power steering.
In the past month: $330 for new brakes, $35 to get the tires checked and the rims hammered back into place (thanks, potholes!), and later this week $325 for a new power steering pump and labor. This thing costs more than a girlfriend.
After Christmas, I'm shopping for a new (used, obviously) car. I can't afford this one any more.
