oh look... melodywhore is writing an LJ entry. the sky must be falling.
the reports say that it's been 36 weeks since i last posted an entry here at LockJaw and that may very well be true. what brings me back this way? who the fuck knows.
maybe it is this: you can't believe everything you read on the internet.
where does that stem from, you might ask yourself... you, the one or two people that are actually reading this. i was just on a website that i happened upon when looking for some lyrics for an old REM song... the site is called songfacts and that is located at http://www.songfacts.com so you can go check this out yourself... now i didn't go through every single song listed but i did look at a few of my favourites and let me tell you... there are either a lot of sick and twisted idiots on the internet or there are quite a number of ignorant fools... a large number of people seem to think that every song ever written is about drugs. and the other large number thinks that a lot of music is about rape or pedephilia. and martin gore of depeche mode wrote a large body of music about dave gahan's battle with drug addiction... too many people with all the wrong information with idle time and computers with internet access... i think that's a recipe for disaster right there. or some slight amusement that will last at least through four or five songs before you want to sign up and correct all the idiocy going on there... but at that point, you're better off just leaving it because then you get sucked into the nonsense and you'll feel compelled to correct every jerk-off that posted false information. and that could take a long long time.
