My poor dog. He is not a fan of the cone collar. The biggest problem he's having is that, when going up the set of stairs to the second floor, he kept knocking it into the steps. He's now terrified to go up the stairs. Because he freaks out if he can't follow me everywhere, I now either have to pick him up and carry him up the stairs every time I come upstairs or leave him whining desperately at the bottom of the stairs.
He's been very cooperative so far with the eye ointment, although it must really, really sting or burn or itch or something, because after I put it in, he desperately tries to paw at his eye. Of course, the collar gets in his way. It's really completely sad to watch, because he's so obviously in pain and he can't figure out what the hell is going on. He was also trying to rub his eye against furniture tonight, like the corner of a chair. Poor thing.
But! Let's not let that get in the way of the simultaneous hilarity and cuteness of my dog wearing a lampshade around his neck.

Lying at the top of the stairs:
Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep?
All wrapped up in blankets:
He is currently still wrapped up in the blankets like this, and is fast asleep:
On another note, quite the Red Sox game tonight. Seeing all those shots of Boston made me miss the city, made me miss living right there in the middle of the insanity.
