Two good things
1. Click here and scroll down almost to the bottom. Look for where it says my name. :-D That really makes me happy.
2. A new lid for my nalgene came today. Wonderful nalgene website! They didn't even make me pay for shipping! It looks exactly the same, except it's not in two pieces!
3. The soundtrack for The Last Kiss came out today! I can't wait to go get it! (Maybe tomorrow!)
I took the kids to see Cars today. Am I the only one who finds that movie to be...really weird? I found the whole concept to be bizarre. Namely, why was this supposed to so closely resemble the United States and human life if they're cars?? James Gunn brought it up in his blog, but there's one scene where they're surrounded by books and newspaper clippings and stuff like that. Wouldn't it be a little weird to have newspapers in a world where none of the sentient beings have opposable thumbs? Or even HANDS?
