Things have been nuts in the Northeast of late. Cameron has become super fancy pants, and gotten fancypants jobs, that involve fancypants television specials, and fancypants tours. Needless to say, Cameron is out of town, again. In this most recent trip our household has been somewhat interesting in his absence. Dear Thann moved in this week, and I now have someone to watch endless marathons of mediocre scifi films with. Also, in a surprising turn of events, Cindy decided SanFransisco wasnt quite her flavor of Zen, so she is coming to live with us for about a month and a half. I am beyond thrilled to have her here, and will be picking her up on Wednesday. In other news, this afternoon a most comedic series of events took place. I ran downstairs to a knock at my door. Rosie, it turns out, had taken to camouflaging her poop in a big pile of leaves right on the border of our driveway, cleverly escaping my poopscouting self. My neighbors discovered this, however, quite by accident, and very nicely informed me of it. In great embarrassment I apologized and formulated a quick change in my schedule. I now had 6 minutes to go upstairs, put on nonpajama pants, and clean up dog poop, all before my student showed up. Needless to say, I needed to run, in baggy pajama pants, up some serious stairs. And after running up half of them I flew back down. After about 2 minutes of shock, and 4 minutes of hysteria *dingdong*, student arrives. Luckily Laura was around, with a *your teacher just fell down the stairs* speech. I am sure it must have been pretty surreal to come into your teachers home to find her in a bloody pile at the bottom of the stairs, laughing, in her pajamas. Needless to say, we rescheduled. In better news, I am fairly sure my foot is not broken, and that the skin on my right leg will someday grow back. Yay!
