Summer
Well, it's been a while, but here's a post.
Rick and I had to move in with my parents for the summer...that's been a blast so far. lol. But good thing is no rent or bills for at least 4 months.
My parents are bugging me about getting another job. I'm not getting enough hours at motherhood maternity so I've quit from there, my last shift is this Sunday. I've put out a bunch of resumes. It is not my fault at all if the places I actually want to work, either won't be looking for people until June or July because that's when their "summer" starts, OR they look at the fact that I'll be going back to school in September and they don't want to hire someone that will just be there 4 months.
Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...most of the resumes I only put out on friday and yesterday. lol.
As for my marks in school, I've got 4 out of 5 so far (still waiting for my independent study mark). I've done awesome this year....and I don't care that one course was choir and one was wind ensemble. I did much better than I thought I would in the aesthetics course I was taking and I think I'm going to do really well on my study and that makes me happy.
Another cool thing...Rick's sister is almost due. We went to her baby shower at the end of April, and apparently the doctor has said there's not much room for him to grow so although the baby's due at the end of May, we may be seeing him early. I know I shouldn't be super-excited, as technically it's not my family yet (lol) but he's going to be like a nephew-to-be, so I'm excited. lol.
Well, I guess that's all the exciting news for now. lol. I will update as all of these stories develop. :)
