the best day in a really long time.
I spent the night at Aleisha's last night, which was super fun. PLUS I'm now a licensed driver, so I got to drive myself there and back. It was miraculous.
This morning my mom and I went to Park Meadows, and for the first time I truly realized what a swanky mall it is. And I had no money. And I didn't see anything that I liked that was remotely in my price range. So while my mom curtain-shopped, I found a chair and read Gone With The Wind.
When I got home, I went grocery shopping by myself for the very first time. I didn't get quite the joy I wanted out of it because my dad previously bought all the groceries we needed. Oh well. I came home and made cookies and gathered movies and books. Then I went over to the Samuel's house and watched Pride and Prejudice with crippled little Erin, Kirsten, and Eric. I like that family a lot. It started raining, however, so I had to leave right after the movie was over. Eric followed me home to make sure I didn't die.
Now I'm home eating and listening to Kendra's playlist. Sort of a nonevent day... but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
