Well, good news first. I got love bugs/ whale times on my ipod. (flapjack episodes.) And at the very end of the credits you can hear flapjack say, "I'll never forget you, Sally Syrup." Again, FlapjackxSally FTW.
I get online to find this* posted on GW

For those who don't want to click, here's some copy-paste:

"Number One: Cartoon Network is changing its name this upcoming fall or early next year. No concrete date is set yet but this fall is the target. The format will contain far fewer animation than in its current incarnation. I do not have concrete info on the channel's new name."

"Number Three: The original series Chowder is facing cancellation, according to the source and the Animator's Guild. There is a very good chance that Flapjack will be cancelled, and The Secret Saturdays is also in big trouble."

I for one, am appaled, both as a flapjack fan and as a person who loved traditional animation much more then CG, which is basically all you see in movies now. That's why I was excited when I heard about the princess and the frog film disney is putting out.
Avatar made me love animation even more then I already did, because it proved that it's not 'out of date'. Infact, I find it amazing. The fact that someone took the time to draw every frame, the backgrounds and the characters. Animation is moving forword along with CG, but it's been terribly negelected.

It's like CN doesn't even remember the epic-ness of Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans, Totally Spies, Ed Edd & Eddy, and Code Lyoko.
A few years ago it was my favorite station, but now I barely tune in. American entertainment can take a big lesson from Japan, where some of the most succesful stuff is animation. Seriously. Just look at LJ graphic comms. And look at the giant following avatar has.

Final Point: More Animation in TV and Movies. A little less CG movies, and no Live Action on CN.

chowder, rant
