McCain is digging down deep at the bottom of the barrel and finding nothing, except to make up absurd and ridiculous statements. He's grasping at straws. He's fragmented, going all over the place with his negative comments-and the sad thing is-some people are believing it.

McCain has nothing solid to offer and hasn't had for weeks. The sooner we get rid of him the better, but I'm afraid that won't happen. He and his pals Rove, Schmidt et al will start the negative attacks as soon as Obama takes the oath of office. I just hope that Mccain's credibility will go down to the point where people will stop listening. And that will happen especially if Obama does the good job that I'm hoping he will. As for Palin, the sooner we see the back of her, the better.

It's almost sad to watch. If McCain loses his home state (and he's very close to doing so), it'll be the end of his career. At his age, I doubt he'll be in much of a position to do anything beyond spend Miss Buffalo Chip's coinage.

The neocons will definitely try but I think Rove has lost his crown as king of Republican dirty tricks. The RW may well have done all they can do. I am hopeful anyway. lol

How I hope you're right! But, Rove writes in Newsweek, will be on talk shows, and will spread his insidious shit for as long as he can.He may have lost his crown, you're absolutely right, but look how people are listening to McCain with this tax thing, and he'll help the economy nonsense. McCain is getting that from Rove. This guy, McCain, couldn't even fly his planes right.

If Obama is as tough as I think he is, he'll be able to get past Rove et al and fight back the way he's done all along, by outlining his plans for his presidency and putting them through, modifying them as little as possible once he becomes president. We've had insanity for eight years, and we just can't afford it anymore. Obama is about the sanest president-elect I've seen in decades.

And, as I recall, Rove and his flunkies were never elected to office.

Well, Nixon wrote a column after his impeachment so I guess Rove will be somewhere doing something. The relative "wisdom" of his "permanent majority" hinjinx and the sociopathy behind them suggests to me he'll be about as "listened to". Newt Gingrich is still out there yakking, too. lol

McCain is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer (and I won't even bother talking about Sancho Palin lol).

I've worked so long and so hard for the Democratic ticket (as I know a lot of us have), it's almost hard to believe we're this close to the finish line -- and we're in the best position to win.
