I'm voting for Mike Huckabee. Here's why:
MIKE HUCKABEE'S PLAN FOR AMERICA:
THE SECURE AMERICA PLAN:
Mike Huckabee has a 9-point strategy for immigration enforcement and border security. Implement a broad-based strategy that commits the resources of the federal government to the enforcement of our immigration laws and results in the attrition of the illegal immigrant population.
FAITH AND POLITICS:
Mike Huckabee's faith is his life- it defines him. His faith doesn't influence his decisions, it drives them. For example, when it comes to the environment, he believes in being a good steward of the earth. He does not separate his faith from his personal and professional lives.
SANCTITY OF LIFE:
He supports and has always supported passage of a constitutional amendment to protect the right to life. His convictios regarding the sanctity of life have always been clear and consistent, without equivocation or wavering. He believes that Roe v. Wade should be over-turned.
TAXES/ECONOMY:
Mike Huckabee would like for you to join him at the best "Going Out of Business" sale he can imagine- one held by the Internal Revenue Service. Is he running for president to shut down the federal government? Not exactly. But he is running to completely eliminate all federal income and payroll taxes. And he does mean all - personal federal, corporate federal, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment.
MARRIAGE:
He supports and has always supported passage of a federal constitutional amendment that defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman. As President, he will fight for passage of this amendment. His personal belief is that marriage is between one man and one woman, for life.
ENERGY INDEPENDENCE:
The first thing Mike Huckabee will do as President is send Congress his comprehensive plan for energy independence. We will achieve energy independence by the end of his second term.
NATIONAL SECURITY/FOREIGN POLICY: WAR ON TERROR
Mike Huckabee believes that we are currently engaged in a world war. Radical Islamic fascists have declared war on our country and our way of life. This war is not a conventional war, and these terrorists are not a conventional enemy. Mike Huckabee will fight the war on terror with the intensity and single-mindedness that it deserves.
SECOND AMMENDMENT RIGHTS:
No candidate has a stronger, more consistent record on Second Amendment rights than Mike Huckabee.
