A little Spanish... but mostly mushy Valentine's talk...
I took my first test in SPA 102 today... I either did really good or really bad...
I don't have the teacher that I love anymore, and I'm not really learning anything this semester. Apparently, I'm not alone, though. In the first 5 minutes of the test, one guy stood up, threw his test in the garbage, and left. Ouch. I hope I did better than that guy did.
Well, Valentine's Day was nice. I got pink tulips sent to my house, which was incredibly sweet. Also, they came in a super cool vase. I was pretty stoked. For a while, I was like "Wow. Do I really get to keep this vase?" hehe.
I sent Dan balloons through the campus ministries at Samford, so that he'd have something ON Valentine's Day too. But, did he get them on Valentine's Day? Of course not. He thought they were from his mom and he kept forgetting to go get them, because she's all the time sending him stuff. Finally, I just told him that they were from me, and then he went and got them and apoligized a lot. So much for being romantic...
We both kind of messed up each other's plans, though, I guess. Dan went to 14 different Walmarts to find this stuffed tiger that I wanted. It sings "Eye of the Tiger". Have you seen it? It dances when it sings.... I dance when it sings too... ANYWAYS, my mom got me the same tiger, so Dan had to take his back and he got me a different one. My mom felt pretty bad about that. Looking back, it's funny now.... actually it was pretty funny then, too.
Anyways, we actually went out FOR Valentine's Day on Friday. I would post pictures if I knew how. We looked pretty darn cute.
