I've come to two conclusions, that I thought I'd share with everyone. Actually, I just felt like letting everyone know that I'm alive, and now have a working keyboard again. ;D

My family's actually had a wrestling connection for longer than i've been alive. My uncle, asshole that he is, has been friends with Hulk Hogan since they went to high school together. Far as I'm aware, they still keep in touch.
I was actually really lucky as a fan. I had a job that let me meet a lot of WWF guys when I was really involved in the fandom. They tended to be pretty down to earth. I got to know a few of them pretty well, but I never did the whole ring rat thing. So, I think I had a better experience than some girls who WERE willing to sleep with them. I was never disrespected, and always treated well when I hung out with any of the guys.
It's indy wrestlers that i have heat with. I got royally screwed by the group that trained me. I also made the mistake of forgetting my personal vow not to get romantically involved with anyone in the wrestling business. The first time wasn't so bad. We mutually broke up. But the second time I got my heart shattered when he cheated on me. I've forgiven him, and we're friends again, now. But I've more than learned my lesson.
Needless to say, it put me off anything to do with wrestling for a couple years. I'm just now starting to catch up on what I've missed.
