The Blessing and The Curse
Ever since I was 13 and the first flood came, I've been plagued by the worst cramps ever starting an entire week before every menses.
Eve's curse.
Already an avid believer that my calling in life was to be wife and mother, I longed for the day when I'd get to be one even more. Seriously, 9 months without a period and a baby at the end seemed well worth the pain of labor and delivery!
But no one tells you that you're plagued with PMS cramps starting WEEKS before that big day!
Only, I can't judge when I'll have the baby based on when these ridiculous cramps start. At least before, I knew I had exactly one week left before all the pain began.
I wonder how long I really have left...
5 weeks left and counting until the 2nd best blessing to enter my life (the man who put me in this state being the best).
