A Sad Avon News Update
Just for those who wish to pay condolences... Mr. Glidden's wife passed away on Saturday.
There was a lovely obituary in the Star today, and her memorial service is to be Wednesday, Sept 24th at Carlisle Funeral Chapel in Mooresville from 2pm-8pm. She was a very sweet lady.

At this point, I plan on going, if only to get a card and show support for Mr. Glidden. My dad said he would sort of like to go too because he spoke with both of the Gliddens several times at school things.
There is a place on the funeral home website about purchasing flowers, but I was going to try to get his address too for those who want to send something via mail. Otherwise if anyone would like to go with me or send something with me to the memorial, I'd be happy to take it.
As a side note, just help pass the word for thoughts, prayers, and to anyone who may want to either attend services or send something to Mr. Glidden.
