Project Looming Over
madeupmelodies and I have a spanish project due on Tuesday. It is literally the stupidest assignment ever given.
We have to write a collaborative essay (really? Who does that?) about why whatever Puertorican bird we pick should be the national bird. So basically, we have to compare a bird to a Puertorican. Fucking wonderful.
Not to mention that we've been goofing off on Tumblr for most of the day. (That shit is addicting, holycrap) though half the time I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm there for the Shizaya porn pics.
Anyway, we chose la Cotorra Puertorriqueña. Which is beautiful and an endangered species. D:
Writing in spanish sucks. T_T Mostly because I know exactly what I want to say, but I don't know the words to properly express it.
Fun fact: The Puertorican parrot's color allows it to blend easily into it's surroundings/home, which is El Yunque. El Yunque is also considered to be the U.S.'s only Rain Forest because we're its commonwealth.
