(no subject)
Man, I suck at posting. And the reason is, I've kind of had a rough winter. Not working, dealing with winter SAD, and falling behind on bills made me a very whiny person. But catching up on bills and having nicer weather has made me much happier! J has been offshore fishing, and I'm still working retail, so we're getting there. I went to a temp agency and they finally called me back yesterday, so it's possible I could have real work here soon.
Today I spent some gift cards I've been saving since Christmas and got new sheets! And some painting supplies for finishing some of my furniture projects. I really hate being home alone so much, but having projects to keep me busy definitely helps the time go by. Last time J left (last week, really) I was sick the whole time he was gone and totally miserable. It's so nice having someone around to at least make you dinner while you don't feel good. And where my dad is going through chemo again, no one in my family dared be around me lest they pass on my cough to him. I'm feeling MUCH better now, though I still have a bit of a cough.
